Daunno Development Company is a privately owned and operated residential real estate development company which began its operations in Clark, New Jersey in the spring of 1996. Rudolph Daunno Jr., founder, formed an organization in the mold of the former Cali Associates of Cranford (Cali) which developed communities and built over 6,000 residential housing units in New Jersey over a 45 year period. Rudolph Daunno Jr. was a partner there for more then twenty years. His father, Rudolph Daunno, Sr. was a senior partner at Cali for over 35 years before his retirement. Rudolph senior offered Rudy the opportunity to learn and taught him extensively in the real estate development field. The standards and disciplines learned working with the likes of his father and John and Angelo Cali are the same standards that are instilled here today at Daunno Development. Every job taken on, whether it is a large scale development or a small addition, is managed by a Daunno Development associate with a personal interest in the successful outcome of the project. Also as with Cali, a large part of the formation of Daunno Development Company is family. Rudy's oldest son Rudy III has joined the company and is now handling all of the sales and marketing. His second son Brandon has just earned a degree in civil engineering at Lehigh University and will begin handling estimating, project management, and MIS. Rudy's third son Spencer is currently attending Rider University and has plans to become an on-site Construction Supervisor. His wife Marianne and brother Chris have also recently joined the company. Marianne has taken on the position of Financial Manager and Chris is working tirelessly as a Managing Partner trying to expand the General Contracting business into Middlesex, Essex and Somerset Counties. Today the company is focused on custom residential real estate development and general contracting doing additions and add-a-levels. In addition to its construction work, the company has also recently added a Realty Services division which will allow it to list and sell the properties of current and future clients. Over the last 12 years Daunno Development Company has built an outstanding reputation for fair pricing and quality service throughout the area.
